Maya Crone | Project Manager

Maya is passionate about lifting up the voices and building power in the communities with which she works. As a facilitator, advocate, and educator.

Maya has worked on a broad range of issues, from antidiscrimination policy for the Bolivian government, to immigrant advocacy and parent education in Portland. Her expertise spans project and policy development, program evaluation, and participatory process design and Spanish bilingual facilitation and translation.

Maya’s approach to her work, guided by strong antiracist and social justice values, was shaped by eight years living and working in Mexico, Turkey, and Bolivia.  

Maya holds a Bachelor of Arts from UC Santa Cruz in Latin American and Latino Studies and a Master of Arts from Middlebury Institute of International Studies in International Policy and Gender and Development, and a certificate from the Development Project Management Institute (DPMI).

Maya is the mother to a nine-year-old and is a long-time yoga practitioner and collaborates with a local nonprofit to offer accessible yoga classes. 

Maya identifies as a white, cis-gender, heterosexual woman.
