Gracie Mukai | Project Coordinator
I am committed to supporting communities disproportionately impacted by injustices with cultural humility and embracing and legitimizing different ways of knowing to advance equity.
Prior to joining Insight for Action, I supported research projects aimed at improving health outcomes and provided occupational therapy services to children and youth with disabilities.
I earned masters degrees in Applied Sociology from Northern Arizona University and in Occupational Therapy from Pacific University. I also completed a Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Program Evaluation from Portland State University.
I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai’i and have spent the better part of the last 20 years making Oregon my home. I love spending time with my son and husband, eating all the delicious food that Portland has to offer, gardening, swimming, solving puzzles, and crafting.
I identify as a cis-gender Asian American woman.
